This Privacy Policy explains how PLANCKMX ("we," "us," "our"), operator of the GhostAtlas IP service, collects, uses, and protects information when you use ghostatlasip.com, dashboard.ghostatlasip.com, and our billing portal.

We are based in Nairobi, Kenya, and process personal data in accordance with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. If you access the Service from outside Kenya, your data may be processed in Kenya and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text) when you register.

Billing information: Billing details necessary to process payment. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Flutterwave; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

Service usage data: Information related to your use of proxy products, such as which products you have provisioned, connection metadata used for billing and abuse-prevention purposes (e.g., bandwidth consumed for metered products), and support ticket contents.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical information collected automatically when you use our website or dashboard, primarily for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

We do not intentionally log or retain the content of traffic routed through proxy connections. Our infrastructure is designed to relay traffic, not inspect or store it.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Process payments and manage billing
  • Provision and support the proxy products you purchase
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse (including violations of our Acceptable Use Policy)
  • Communicate with you about your account, service changes, or support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with the following categories of service providers, only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Billing and account management: WHMCS (our billing platform)
  • Payment processing: Flutterwave
  • Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel (dashboard and marketing site hosting)
  • Upstream proxy network partners: Necessary to provision the proxy products you purchase

Each of these providers processes data under their own applicable privacy and security practices. We select providers that maintain reasonable data protection standards.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Support ticket data is retained to maintain service history.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@ghostatlasip.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law, including the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed and signed authentication credentials, and access controls limiting who can view account data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

Our website and dashboard use cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you logged in) and basic site functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Because our service providers (including hosting and payment processing) operate infrastructure outside Kenya, your data may be transferred to and processed in other countries. We take steps to ensure such providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
